About Pero

About Pero Visual

Pero is an independent record label built on distortion, rawness, and refusal to compromise. We work with small, underground bands rooted in grunge and alternative rock — the kind of music that isn’t made for playlists, but for basements, garages, and rooms that smell like reverb and cheap beer.

We don’t chase trends. We find bands before anyone else is looking, and we give them the space, time, and honesty to make records that actually mean something. No polish for the sake of polish. No formulas. Just guitars, feedback, and songs that sound like they were written because they had to be, not because a chart demanded it.

Pero isn’t a factory. It’s a handful of people who still believe a three-chord song played with real conviction can hit harder than anything algorithm-approved ever will.

Who are we looking for?

Who We Are Looking For Visual

We're looking for grunge bands who haven't found their fans yet.

Not the polished ones. Not the ones with a manager, a marketing budget, or a plan. We're talking about the bands rehearsing in basements and storage units, playing to twelve people in a bar that smells like spilled beer and old amps, recording demos on whatever gear they can scrape together. The ones who write because they have to, not because anyone's watching.

We believe some of the best music being made right now is being made by people nobody's paying attention to yet — and that's exactly the point. Grunge was never about being polished. It was about being real, being loud about the things that hurt, and not caring if it was pretty. That spirit doesn't need a bigger stage. It needs someone who actually listens.

That's us. We're not a machine built to manufacture the next big thing. We're a home for bands who've been doing this in the dark — and for fans who are tired of algorithms feeding them the same five names. We want to be the bridge between the two: the outsiders making the music, and the outsiders looking for exactly that sound, without knowing where to find it yet.

If that's you — if you're out there playing to nobody, wondering if anyone's ever going to hear it — we're looking for you too.
